Cunnington set for pastures new

Sky Sports understands that Dagenham & Redbridge striker Adam Cunnington has been given the option of leaving the club on a free transfer. Cunnington initially joined Dagenham on loan from Kettering last November before the move became permanent when the January transfer window opened. The 24-year-old ended the season on loan at Alfreton Town and now Dagenham are ready to let the forward move on for pastures new. Cunnington's agent, Gino Culbertson, admits the player was disappointed his move to Dagenham had not worked out and that a number of clubs have already made enquiries for him. "Naturally, Adam is disappointed that things have not worked out at Dagenham, however, he has a good relationship with the manager and appreciates the club's position and it has all been very amicable," Culbertson told skysports.com. "We have had a number of enquiries over the past few weeks as to Adam's position next season, so now it is a case of assessing all his options."
