Reported Manchester City and Barcelona target Thiago Silva has guaranteed that he will not leave AC Milan in the summer.
The Brazilian defender has attracted a lot of attention from top clubs around Europe which also includes the likes of Paris St Germain.
However, the 27-year-old has been quick to quash any speculation that he will be exiting the San Siro, insisting he is happy in Milan and wants to stay with the Italian giants.
"I have been told that for Milan I am a fundamental part of the team and non-transferable," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Am I tempted to play in the Premier League or La Liga? Absolutely not. I am happy at Milan and I want to stay.
"I spoke with Adriano Galliani (Milan vice-president) before I left for Hamburg, and he told me: 'You can stay calm because you are not leaving this club'."
Earlier in the week, Zlatan Ibrahimovic said the team needed some fine-tuning in the summer - a sentiment echoed by Thiago Silva, who is keen for the Rossoneri chiefs to invest in new players.
"Ibrahimovic and I think the same way. We came to this club to win and we are staying for that same reason," the former Fluminense added.
"Milan are already a competitive side, but this season showed that in order to go further, we need more quality players."
