Everton defender Sylvain Distin insists that he wants to carry on playing for the Merseyside club for as many years as he can.
The 34-year-old had an impressive 2011/12 campaign with the Toffees and won the Players' Player of the Season award.
Distin now says that he wants to continue playing for Everton and looks forward to another successful season with them in 2012/13.
"I don't need any boost to go into next season," he said. "I love my job and I know how lucky I am to do this kind of job.
"I want to carry on as long as I can. I don't need a boost. No matter what happens, you can be sure I'll be there the next day.
"It's a good squad here with a great atmosphere. I feel so comfortable with the lads, so it's a pleasure."
