Celtic midfielder Ki Sung-yueng has played down speculation he could leave Parkhead this summer, insisting his priority is to be at a club where he is playing regularly.

Ki, who helped the Hoops to the Scottish Premier League title this season, has been linked with a move to the Premier League during the upcoming transfer window.

Tottenham and Blackburn are thought to be keen on the South Korea international, who joined Celtic from native club Seoul in 2009.

However the 23-year-old, who has returned to his homeland to prepare for next month's World Cup qualifiers, does not want to join a club in a top league just to sit on the bench.

"There's no point moving to a team in a big league if you don't get to play," Ki, who notched up 41 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops this season, told the Daily Record.

"I'm not thinking about any transfers."
