Thiago Silva's agent insists the defender wants to stay at AC Milan and has dismissed speculation of talks with Manchester City or Barcelona.
Reports in Italy have claimed that Roberto Mancini met with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani earlier this week, although the City manager's visit is rumoured to be unrelated to possible transfer targets.
However, that has not put to bed speculation that Premier League champions City will try to tempt Milan into selling Silva by offering striker Mario Balotelli in part-exchange.
Barcelona are also reported to be long-term admirers of Silva, although Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has insisted the centre-half is not for sale.
The Brazil international is also not looking to move on this summer after his representative Paulo Tonietto outlined Silva's commitment to the Rossoneri.
"Neither I nor Thiago have had contact with Manchester City and Barcelona," Tonietto told calciomercato.it.
"His preference? Of course, it's AC Milan. Only the Rossoneri's leadership can decide to sell the player.
"This is just speculation circulated in newspapers to fill out the papers when there is no other football news."
