Newcastle captain Fabricio Coloccini is hoping for more of the same next season after an impressive campaign for the Magpies.
Alan Pardew led the St James' Park outfit to a fifth-placed finish in the Premier League, securing Europa League qualification in the process.
And the 30-year-old defender, who signed a new four-year deal in March, is hoping Pardew's men can reach the same heights again.
Coloccini said: "I enjoyed it, especially because we got qualification for the Europa League. For me that was very important.
"Overall, it was a consistent season. I think a lot of teams found it tough to beat us and that was important. Next season, we will try and do the same."
Coloccini's performances won him a place in the Professional Footballers' Association's Premier League team of the year.
