Amougou, Carlisle & Easton leave Turf Moor

Burnley have released defenders Andre Amougou, Clarke Carlisle and Brian Easton at the end of their contracts. All three players finished the season away from Turf Moor on loan with Bristol City, Northampton and Hamilton, respectively. Forward Alex MacDonald was also a loanee at Plymouth, but has been offered a new contract alongside goalkeeper Jon Stewart and teenage striker Joe Jackson and Shay McCartan - the latter of whom is the latest player to graduate from the Clarets' successful youth team. The club have taken up the option of a second year on captain Chris McCann's contract to extend his stay until June 2013, while veteran goalkeeper Brian Jensen is currently pondering the prospect of extending his nine-year Burnley career. Young professionals Alex Ray-Harvey, Dominic Knowles, David Lynch, Joe McKee, Ross Wilson and Neil Yadolahi all depart along with youth players Ben Woodhead, Josh Cook and Alex Mullin.
