Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton has accepted one Football Association charge of violent conduct, but denied another and has requested a personal hearing.
Barton was red carded during QPR's final day loss at Manchester City, but in the aftermath of his sending off he clashed with Sergio Aguero and Vincent Kompany.
As Barton had already been dismissed, both of these incidents fell outside the jurisdiction of the referee.
He has now accepted the charge against him for violent conduct against Aguero, but denied the charge relating to his clash with Kompany.
The controversial midfielder has requested a personal hearing, the date of which has yet to be set.
