Sunderland loanee Asamoah Gyan has revealed he is in negotiations to extend his stay in the UAE with Al Ain.
The Ghana striker made a shock one-year loan move to the Middle East back in September.
The switch has been a successful one with Gyan finishing as the league's top scorer with 19 goals this term.
And yet, while the 26-year-old is not planning to return to his parent club, the forward has made it known he has options elsewhere.
"I'm in negotiations with Al Ain," Gyan told Gulf News. "I'm very happy here.
"But there are quite a few clubs interested and I will see what is the best option before making a decision."
