Leeds have announced the signing of Portsmouth defender Jason Pearce as their first arrival of the summer.
As revealed by skysports.com last month, Leeds had lined up a deal to bring the highly-rated central defender to Elland Road.
Pearce has signed a four-year deal at Leeds after they agreed an undisclosed fee with relegated Portsmouth for his services.
Whites boss Neil Warnock was delighted to make Pearce his first addition as he looks to rebuild the squad at Elland Road.
"He's just the type I look for when I go into a club at Championship level," Warnock told the club's official website.
"He fits the bill for everything - hunger, ability and so on. A lot of plusses."
