Millwall boss Kenny Jackett has been named Championship manager of the month for April.
The Lions chief oversaw a run of five wins and one draw from six games to comfortably ensure the London club's place in the Championship.
Jackett said the award was recognition for everyone's efforts at The Den over the past few weeks.
"This is great. Not just for me personally but for Millwall Football Club, too," said Jackett.
"As a club we don't seem to get recognised that often, so it's a great honour to have won this award. It reflects very well on the players who put in such a strong finish to the season.
"It is very special for me because although I have won this award before, it has never been as a Championship manager, so this is a first and I am honoured."
Vaz Te rewarded
West Ham forward Ricardo Vaz Te scooped the player of the month award after a fine run of form.
The former Barnsley man scored six goals in six games, including a hat-trick in the 6-0 win over Brighton to help West Ham finish third in the table.
Hammers manager Sam Allardyce was delighted to see his January signing pick up the prize.
"I'm delighted for Ricardo," said Allardyce. "He's had a massive impact since he arrived at the club and the goals he scored throughout the month of April were key to us remaining unbeaten.
"It is a well deserved award and we hope that he can continue his run of form into the play-offs."
