Goalkeeper Shay Given claims Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish still retains the support of the dressing room, despite the current plight of the club.
Villa maintained a three-point gap from the Premier League's bottom three thanks to a creditable draw at West Midlands rivals West Brom at the weekend.
However, the club have failed to win in eight matches now and the pressure has been mounting on the former Birmingham City manager with just two games of the season remaining.
But with their fate in their own hands, the Republic of Ireland No.1 has called on everyone to take responsibility.
Given said: "Every manager in the Premier League's job is on the line but obviously we're under a bit of pressure and Alex is under a bit of pressure.
"But we have got to take responsibility ourselves, players and staff alike.
"Does McLeish still have dressing room support? Yes of course he does, he's a fantastic manager and we're all right behind him but we'd obviously like results to be better this season."
