Burnley right-back Kieran Trippier has played down rumours linking him with Newcastle, insisting he is happy at Turf Moor.
The 21-year-old signed a three-and-a-half year contract at Turf Moor in January after joining the Clarets on a season-long loan from Manchester City at the start of the campaign.
He started every Championship game for Eddie Howe's side this term, scoring three times, and is loving life at Turf Moor after failing to make a first-team appearance during his time at City.
He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "I've just been doing my job really and I've loved every minute of being at Burnley Football Club.
"It might be all rumours about Newcastle because I've not heard anything. I'm a Burnley player and I'm happy to be a Burnley player.
"As far as I know I'll be returning for pre-season and getting ready for next year in the Championship.
"I don't even think about the speculation. If something happens it happens but I'm a Burnley player and I'll be here next season."
