Wayne Henessey is determined to return from injury as quickly as possible and then help Wolves earn promotion back to the Premier League next season.
Hennessey will be sidelined for around six months after requiring surgery to repair a cruciate ligament he tore in the goalless draw at Sunderland earlier in April.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper had been linked with a move away from Molineux following relegation from the Premier League, but is firmly focused on the future at Wolves.
He is confident Wolves have the quality and experience to bounce straight back up to the top flight at the first attempt.
"I'll work hard over the summer and hopefully be back playing for Wolves when I'm ready again," he said.
"Our aim now has to be to bounce back by getting promoted.
"We've got a lot of players who came up through the Championship, so we know what the league's about. Hopefully we can do it again."
