Torquay have handed a trial to talented midfielder Craig Easton, who has been impressive for the Gulls' reserve team recently.
The former Swindon and Southend man played under Gulls manager Martin Ling at Leyton Orient and will be given the chance to impress at Plainmoor as he looks to earn a full-time deal with the Devon club. Easton was part of a Torquay reserve side that took on the Nike Academy on Tuesday, scoring the opening goal in a 3-2 victory.
