Tottenham's young defender Adam Smith hopes to see former club Milton Keynes Dons ply their trade in the Championship next season.
The 20-year-old enjoyed a five-month loan spell with the Dons earlier this season, making 22 appearances, scoring two goals.
The Buckinghamshire outfit are poised to face Huddersfield in the play-off semi-finals, with a place in the Wembley-staged final up for grabs.
The England under-21 international told Sky Sports that Karl Robinson's side have what it takes to go all the way in the end-of-season lottery.
"I definitely feel that they can go all the way in the play-offs and gain promotion to the Championship," he said.
"The way that they play the game is very exciting and effective, which hopefully will stand them in good stead in the play-offs.
"It is a pity that they couldn't keep pace with the top two or three, but you never know what can happen once you are in the play-offs and I'm sure it will be an exciting end to the season for the fans whatever happens."
