Marseille ace Andre Ayew is set for surgery on his shoulder which will sideline him for three months.
The Ghana international forward has been suffering with a problem in his left shoulder for a number of months.
Now it has been decided that he will go under the knife in order to make sure he is fully fit for next season.
"It has been very difficult for me. I wanted to help the club reach its best position but the pain is enormous so it is the end of the season," he said.
"We will do the surgery as soon as possible and be ready for the start of next season."
Ayew will now miss Marseille's remaining five matches this season.
