Redknapp feels Newcastle hold aces in race for top four

Harry Redknapp has admitted that Newcastle are in a great position to beat Tottenham to fourth place in the Premier League as there is no pressure on the Magpies. Alan Pardew's team have defied expectations this season to challenge for European qualification and they moved into the UEFA Champions League spots on Saturday by beating Stoke, as Spurs lost to Queens Park Rangers. While Tottenham are on a dreadful run of form, Newcastle appear to be going from strength to strength and have now won six in a row. Newcastle, who have not qualified for the Champions League since 2003, still have Chelsea and Manchester City to play in their remaining four games, but Redknapp does not believe Pardew's men will be intimidated by their run-in.

Miracle

"I don't think there is any pressure on Newcastle," the Tottenham manager said. "What Alan has done there is fantastic, it's a miracle really. To get them in the position they're in has been a great achievement. "They can relax and play. No-one expected them to be anywhere near where they are. You have to give them credit for what they have done. "They do look good at the moment. They have three fantastic forwards and they are playing very well."
