Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey has undergone a scan after suffering a knee injury during Saturday's goalless draw at Sunderland.
The 25-year-old has built up a wealth of experience despite his young age and has racked up 58 successive Premier League appearances.
Wolves sent the Wales international for a scan and are now awaiting the results to see if the keeper will play again this summer.
"Wayne felt his knee during the game at the weekend and has been sent for an MRI scan," said boss Terry Connor.
"Hopefully it is something and nothing but it is best to make sure."
Should Hennessey fail to take his place in the starting line-up for Sunday's game against Manchester City, former Swansea goalkeeper Dorus de Vries is poised to make his debut.
