Mark Hughes says he has 'no intention' of allowing Adel Taarabt to leave Queens Park Rangers at the end of the season.
Taarabt was QPR's key figure in last season's Championship title success, but he has struggled to replicate that impact in the Premier League.
He was close to joining Paris St Germain during last summer's transfer window and has recently been linked with a move to Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.
However, QPR boss Hughes does not want to lose the Moroccan and has dashed any prospect that he will sell the 22-year-old.
"We've certainly not had any conversations in that regard and have no intention of allowing him to leave," said Hughes in the Fulham & Hammersmith Chronicle.
"He's a part of what we're trying to build on for the future."
Taarabt has a further season to run on his contract at Loftus Road and recently scored his first Premier League goal in the home win over Arsenal.
