Midfielder hoping former Milan colleague joins him in Turin

Andrea Pirlo believes there is a chance that Alessandro Nesta could follow his lead and swap life at AC Milan for that at Serie A leaders Juventus. Pirlo spent 10 years with the Rossoneri before deciding that the time was right to take on a new challenge in 2011. He has helped Juve to the summit of the Italian top flight and is hoping they will succeed in their efforts to edge out his former employers. Pirlo is then keen to see a familiar face join him in Turin.

Talks

World Cup-winning centre-half Nesta is due to be out of contract in Milan at the end of the season and reports have suggested that the 36-year-old could be lured to Juve over the summer. "Nesta to Juve? I've heard about that and we have talked about it," Pirlo told Sky Sport Italia. "I can't say too much because this is a personal thing. "Alessandro is free to choose where his future lies and he already plays for a great team. We'll see what happens."
