Mark Hughes says club won't take action over smoking

Mark Hughes has confirmed Adel Taarabt will be in the QPR squad for the trip to Manchester United, despite pictures emerging of him smoking. The midfielder was seen holding a light shisha pipe along with Morocco international team-mate Marouane Chamakh of Arsenal. But Hughes says that whilst he does not encourage it, the 22-year-old will not be punished by the club. "I saw the picture," said the QPR manager. "If you're a professional athlete, you shouldn't really smoke but a lot of players do. "I think what Adel was doing with his friends was a social activity and that is how he relaxes. "As with everything in life, if it is done in moderation then it shouldn't have an impact on you. "But he is a professional athlete so, from my point of view, I wouldn't encourage it."
