Michel Vorm believes there are teams that are jealous of the way Swansea play and is desperate for manager Brendan Rodgers to remain at the club.
Rodgers recently signed a new long-term contract with the Swans and has repeatedly stated that he is enjoying life at the Liberty Stadium, having taken the club from the Championship to mid-table in the Premier League.
Swansea have played a brand of football that has been attractive as well as effective, and their success has seen Rodgers linked with a move elsewhere.
He has been mentioned as a possible contender for the Tottenham job if Harry Redknapp leaves White Hart Lane to take charge of England, and Vorm can understand why they might be looking in Rodgers' direction.
However, the Dutch goalkeeper believes it is vital for Swansea to keep hold of their manager if they are to continue progressing.
"Spurs are also a team who like to play good football and for me, Brendan Rodgers is the best manager to show what can be achieved by playing that way, even with a smaller club," he told the South Wales Evening Post.
"I think there are teams who are quite jealous of us.
"Spurs are a big club and if Redknapp goes they could look at Brendan. But I hope he stays and he's signed a new deal until 2015.
"He's very important for us and I don't want him to go."
Vorm is delighted with the way Swansea's fearless approach this season has paid dividends but insists it is all down to hard work.
"What we have done this season is amazing," he said.
"People don't see the training but we train hard every day.
"We've shown on the pitch that we're not afraid of anyone - we've shown that all season long."
