Everton striker Victor Anichebe is keen to establish himself in David Moyes' starting line-up.

Anichebe came off the bench to score in last weekend's win over West Brom and all four of his goals this term have come as a substitute, earning him the reputation as a super-sub.

The 23-year-old has seen his progress hampered by a series of niggling injuries, but Anichebe is determined to get a regular run in the side.

"I can't rubbish the super-sub tag - I always seem to get a goal or something," Anichebe told the Daily Post.

"Whether it's coming off the bench or starting games, I'm not really bothered to be honest, but there will come a time when I'll have to start playing consecutive games all the time, not just coming in off the bench.

"I've been troubled with injuries here and there, so it does limit the time I've had on the pitch.

"But Everton are great, they've managed me well and hopefully they can get me playing a handful of games from the start."
