Tony Pulis could be without flying wingers Matthew Etherington and Jermaine Pennant over the busy Easter weekend.
The Stoke pair picked up ankle injuries during their lacklustre defeat to struggling Wigan on Saturday and were substituted before the end.
Pulis' side host rock-bottom Wolves on Saturday before travelling to relegation-threatened Aston Villa on Easter Monday.
And the Potters boss is hoping his medical staff can patch the pair up before the weekend as his side aim to end their five-game winless run.
"Although Matty's looked a nasty one at the time, it is Jermaine's injury that is giving us more cause for concern at the moment," he told the club's official website.
"We have got a clear week to get them right, but they are both nursing heavy knocks, so we will just have to see how they respond to treatment, especially with two big games in 48 hours coming up over the Easter period."
