League Two promotion hopefuls Shrewsbury have extended the loan spell of Sheffield United midfielder Dave McAllister.
The Irishman was set to return to Bramall Lane following the Shrews' home game against Aldershot on Saturday.
But the Blades have agreed to let the 22-year-old remain at Greenhous Meadow for the maximum 93-day loan period.
McAllister, who has started every match since his January arrival, will stay until 14th April.
"It's unfortunate it can't be taken until the end of the season which I wanted to do," he said.
"I would have liked to be here if and when we get promoted."
