Bradford have recalled goalkeeper Matt Duke from his loan spell with fellow League Two strugglers Northampton.

The Bantams will be without regular stopper Jon McLaughlin for at least three games as a result of the red card he received in the mass brawl after the defeat to Crawley.

With internal and Football Association investigations also looming, McLaughlin could face further sanctions.

Duke will now return to the club and battle with Jamie Annerson, who is on loan from Rotherham, for a starting spot against Plymouth at the weekend.

The former Hull player featured in nine games in his loan spell at Sixfields, keeping three clean sheets in his last four games, and his loss will be a blow to Aidy Boothroyd's men.

The defeat to Crawley left Bradford just four points clear of the relegation zone.
