On-loan Atletico Madrid midfielder Diego is keeping his options open ahead of his return to Wolfsburg in the summer.
The Brazilian was a first-team regular at his parent club last season, but then suffered a bust-up with his manager, Felix Magath, over the decision to send him on loan to Spain.
Diego is under contract with Wolfsburg until June 2014 and is due to go back to Germany at the end of the current season.
He would have no complaints about resuming his career at Volkswagen-Arena, but has also implied he would not be averse to staying with Atletico.
Diego told Kicker-Sportmagazin: "I am actually with Atletico Madrid, but anything can happen in the summer.
"I am enjoying my stay at Atletico Madrid, but I also liked my spell at Wolfsburg, although there were some problems now and then.
"I have a decent relationship with the manager, after all. I have made many mistakes during my stay at Wolfsburg."
