Terry Butcher has backed Jonny Tuffey to fill the void left at Inverness by the groin injury to first choice goalkeeper Ryan Esson.
Tuffey, who is out of contract at the end of the season, made his first appearance in the SPL this season as a late replacement for Esson, who was injured in the warm-up before Saturday's 1-0 win at Aberdeen.
Tuffey has spoken of his determination to play regular first-team football, as he looks to get back into the Northern Ireland setup and could now get his chance at Caley Thistle.
"Ryan's going to be out for a couple of weeks. He's tweaked his adductor muscle quite badly," said Butcher.
"Jonny's had to bide his time, he's worked very hard and been a great team member.
"He's done very well for us whenever he's come into the side. He gets his chance. I know he'll take it and do well."
