Crewe have extended the short-term deal of Jordan Brown by a further month.
The former West Ham academy left-back was released by the Hammers in January and was swiftly taken on loan by Alex boss Steve Davis.
After initial confusion between the two parties, Brown left Gresty Road, only to be called back later and offered a month-long deal.
Brown has made five appearances since joining the Alex and made his full debut in the 1-0 win over Hereford at the weekend.
He will now be available up to and including the match with Torquay on April 28th, but Crewe have the option to extend that deal for the final game against Aldershot and also for any potential play-off fixtures.
The Railwaymen currently sit one point off seventh position in the league, but find themselves unbeaten in nine - having won their past four games.
