Carlisle have secured the services of Sunderland striker Jordan Cook for another month.
The 21-year-old, who had already extended his initial stay at Brunton Park in February, recently returned to the Stadium of Light to resolve his future with his parent club.
Cook told the Carlisle's official club website: "I had no hesitation about coming back for another month as I felt that I gained a lot during my initial spell at the club.
"When I went back to Sunderland we discussed a few things about how the first two months had gone and looked ahead to next season, but they were happy for me to return here.
"Although it's frustrating that the deal can only be extended for another 31 days, the alternative is playing reserve-team football and I'd much rather come here and get more first-team experience."
Cook, who first arrived at Carlisle in January, has made six appearances, scoring one goal.
