Sky Sports understands Sheffield Wednesday are set to sign Burnley winger Keith Treacy on loan.
New Owls boss Dave Jones is keen to bolster his squad as he looks to maintain their push for promotion and he has lined up a deal for Treacy.
Treacy only joined Burnley from Preston last summer, but he has struggled to nail down a regular place in Eddie Howe's starting XI>
Howe is happy to loan him out with the player keen to be featuring more regularly to boost his chances of making the Republic of Ireland's Euro 2012 squad.
Treacy is likely to go straight into the Wednesday squad for this weekend's clash with Leyton Orient.
