David Healy believes both Rangers and Celtic will be desperate to bounce back from respective disappointments when they collide at Ibrox.

Frontman hopeful Gers can get a result

David Healy believes both Rangers and Celtic will be desperate to bounce back from respective disappointments when they collide at Ibrox on Sunday. Administration-hit Gers are keen to end a woeful run after suffering back-to-back Scottish Premier League defeats by Hearts and Dundee United. Celtic, meanwhile, lost the Scottish League Cup final to Kilmarnock but could secure the league title if results go their way this weekend. Rangers striker Healy feels both sides will be like wounded animals when they clash in the Old Firm derby. He told the Daily Record: "We lost at United and Celtic lost in the Final so we'll both want to bounce back. "Celtic also might have the opportunity to win the league at Ibrox. "But we know we beat them earlier in the season, which was an incredible game and performance.

Hopeful

"They have a good squad and good players who can hurt you. "But come Sunday hopefully we will have done enough during the week to know how we can get a result." Healy has been impressed by the reaction of Rangers' fans to the turmoil at Ibrox this season and is keen to repay them with a good result on Sunday. He added: "It hasn't been easy recently and it's time for the players to go and give the supporters, who have backed us 100 per cent this season, something to cheer about."
