Hartlepool striker Colin Nish will not play again this season after being told he requires surgery on his injured knee.
Nish had a long lay-off at the end of 2011 with a knee injury but, just weeks after his return, the 31-year-old now needs an operation on the other knee. The Scot suffered the fresh injury in training towards the beginning of this month. Since joining from Hibernian last summer, Nish has scored four goals in 19 appearances for Pools.
