Sky Sports understands Bournemouth are lining up a bid to sign Burnley forward Zavon Hines on loan before Thursday's deadline.

Hines joined Burnley on a two-year contract from Championship rivals West Ham United last summer, but he has yet to make an impact at Turf Moor.

His 13 appearances in the league have all been as a substitute and the 23-year-old is still searching for his first goal in Clarets colours.

He could now be offered the opportunity to get some first-team football under his belt in the closing weeks of the season after attracting Bournemouth's interest.

Burnley boss Eddie Howe's former club are understood to be weighing up a loan offer for Hines, who has not featured in the past month.
