Heerenveen midfielder Viktor Elm intends to leave the Eredivisie club in search of a new challenge at the end of the season.
The Sweden international, who arrived at the Abe Lenstra Stadion from native club Kalmar FF in 2008, is out of contract in the summer.
Elm says he plans to depart the club at the end of the campaign and claims to have several options for his next destination.
He told Omrop Fryslan: "After four seasons, it is good for motivation and personal development to find something new to do. I have a few options."
The 26-year-old has notched up 93 appearances for Heerenveen, scoring 12 goals.
His brother, AZ Alkmaar midfielder Rasmus Elm, is thought to have attracted interest from the Premier League, having been linked with Manchester United.
