Maik Taylor has thanked Kenny Jackett after the Millwall boss gave him something to look forward to at the weekend.

The 40-year-old Northern Ireland international has joined on an emergency until the end of the season as cover for regular number one David Forde as Steve Mildenhall is still out.

And Taylor revealed he had to leave Elland Road because manager Neil Warnock does not name a goalkeeper amongst the substitutes.

"At Leeds, Neil Warnock doesn't have a keeper on the bench," Taylor told Millwall's official website. "So it was frustrating training all week with nothing to look forward to.

"With Steve being injured at the moment it will be good to be involved on a matchday again."
