Exeter's footballing mantra is a perfect fit for striker Jake Taylor, who has been in good form since joining the club last year.
The forward has played 23 times for the Grecians since joining the League One club in September, and he has been impressed by the way manager Paul Tisdale has tried to get the Devon side playing.
Wales Under-21 international Taylor thinks the fact that Tisdale's preferred style is very similar to that employed by Brian McDermott at his parent club is a major reason why he has enjoyed such a successful spell at St James Park.
"In training we work hard on passing the ball and it's a philosophy that suits me and I enjoy it. It's a good way to play football," he said.
"Coming here is very similar but in a slightly different way. There's lots of positive staff around and they're always trying to help all the players improve.
"They playing the same sort of style of football as Reading and that suits me a lot."
