Osborne ramps up comeback

Karleigh Osborne continued his comeback from injury with a run-out for Brentford's reserves against West Ham.

The centre-half made his first appearance of 2012 as a late substitute in Saturday's defeat by Sheffield United after two months out with an ankle injury. And he got the full 90 minutes under his belt as Brentford's development squad took on the Hammers at Griffin Park. But Osborne could not stop the Bees slipping to a 2-0 defeat, courtesy of a first-half brace from West Ham's former Manchester United youngster Ravel Morrison. Brentford also suffered an injury scare when winger Myles Weston limped off after a heavy challenge early on.
