Petr Cech has heaped praise on Didier Drogba after seeing the Chelsea marksman net his 100th Premier League goal in Saturday's 1-0 win over Stoke City.
Drogba was also celebrating his 34th birthday, which made the goal and the victory all the more sweet.
The Ivory Coast talisman has been the focal point of the Blues' attack since he signed for the club from Marseille for £24 million in 2004.
"Didier profited from Mata's beautiful pass and he finished it expertly," Cech told his official website.
"He went around the goalkeeper and scored his 100th goal in the English league. He has been here nearly eight years and he has an amazing average of goals scored per game.
"And he did not even play for some time with injuries. I congratulate him, he is still an exceptional striker."
