Barnsley have raided Championship rivals West Ham to sign striker Frank Nouble on loan.
As revealed by skysports.com earlier this week, Barnsley had lined up a loan deal for the England Under 19 international who has found himself well down the pecking order at West Ham in recent weeks.
Nouble has joined on a month's loan and is set to go straight into the squad for this weekend's clash with Southampton.
Nouble had a spell on loan at Barnsley last season and Tykes boss Keith Hill has moved to bring him back to South Yorkshire for a second stint.
"It was too good an opportunity to turn down." Hill told Radio Sheffield.
"Nouble gives us options whether it's starting, or off the bench, and something unpredictable with respect to the opposition."
The 20-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season at Upton Park and has yet to be offered a new deal by West Ham.
