Luuk de Jong's agent in Italy has confirmed several English, German and Italian clubs continue to monitor the Twente striker.
Liverpool and Newcastle have previously been linked with the 21-year-old, as have Serie A outfit Fiorentina.
Agent Marco De Marchi believes a potential transfer could happen in the summer after the European Championship.
The agent told calciomercato.com: "I confirm that Liverpool like De Jong and not only them. There are several English and German clubs who follow him, but no-one has made real steps with Twente."
The agent would not be drawn on whether Roma where among the clubs looking at his client.
"I can confirm that Luuk has a huge market in Italy, several clubs have called me to test the waters," he said.
"I think something could happen in the summer, after the European Championship."
With regards his price, De Marchi added: "It's hard to say it because he is improving day after day and by the end of the season I think the price will rise further, especially if he'll be called by (Holland coach Bert) van Marwijk for the European Championship."
