Midfielder Damien Mozika is delighted to finally be injury-free, and has since vowed to help Scunthorpe stay in League One this season.

The Frenchman has missed four months of the term with an ankle problem but returned to the starting line-up for the Iron's 4-1 victory over Wycombe on Saturday.

And after such a prolonged injury nightmare, Mozika was understandably ecstatic to be able to play a part in Scunny's relegation dogfight.

He told the club's official website: "It has been a really long time for me. The last few months have been really hard, it has not been easy at all, but now I am back I am really happy.

"Fitness-wise, I am not at 100 per cent yet but it will come.

"Hopefully I will stay injury-free until the end of the season. I will always try to do my best for the team and for the fans. I want to help us stay in this league and maybe finish even higher."
