Oldham boss Paul Dickov has praised Kieran Lee's unassuming approach following the right-back's superb goal against Sheffield United.
Lee levelled the scores at Bramall Lane with a measured left-footed finish before Shefki Kuqi's injury-time penalty secured a memorable 3-2 victory from a 2-0 half-time deficit.
Dickov was delighted for Lee, but revealed his finishing skills were not a product of extra hours on the training field.
"He's fantastic, he's the most unassuming footballer you could meet," said the Scot. "I don't think he knew what to do when he celebrated (on Saturday).
"He's just such a good footballer and he's a joy to have around.
"The boys are supposed to be in at 10 o'clock and he comes in at 9:59 and 59 seconds every day, does his work, is the best player in training, gets changed and is one of the first home."
