Bywater is an Owls believer

Stephen Bywater believes Sheffield Wednesday can overhaul arch-rivals Sheffield United in the race for automatic promotion.

Former West Ham and Derby goalkeeper Bywater said he will never forget Sunday's Steel City derby win, which lifted the Owls to within two points of the Blades, who are in second place with two games in hand. "I'm just going to concentrate on the last 13 games and believe in myself that we can claw it back," Bywater told the club's official website. "We can still do well and put some pressure on the two teams above us because that is what the name of the game is. "We need to get on a run again, like we did before Christmas, and I just think luck has gone against us lately, but now we can go to Rochdale and continue the form. "We haven't been playing badly, we have been playing well, it's just that the chances haven't been going in the back of the net and you have got to do that to win games."
