AFC Wimbledon loanee Gavin Hoyte wants to extend his loan stay from Arsenal after featuring twice for the Dons since joining in January.

Hoyte is on a one-month deal but the full-back, who has also been on loan with Watford, Brighton and Lincoln in his career, is keen to remain at Kingsmeadow beyond February 27.

"The loan's going well," he told the Hounslow Chronicle. "Unfortunately the two games I've been involved in we've lost, but I think you've got to take the positives out of it.

"It's good to be out playing games. It's much better than playing reserve-team football as it's more competitive and about winning and getting results.

"I would be willing to stay if the manager wants me and we'll go from there."
