Alex Pearce was delighted after Reading picked up three more points after beating Burnley 1-0 on Friday to go third in the Championship.
The defender picked up the man of the match award as the Royals once again shut out their opponents to keep their fourth straight clean sheet.
But the centre-back says it is about more than just the back four when it comes to keeping a clean sheet.
Pearce told Sky Sports: "(I'm) Very pleased to win it. We've kept a lot of clean sheets this year, we defend from the front. A solid performance tonight and I'm just so happy to get the three points.
"It's not just the back four that take credit for the clean sheet, it's everyone, the goalkeeper (Adam Federici) pulled off a great save just at the beginning of the second half, so it's a team effort and we are just delighted.
"We're in good form at the moment, we've been getting the wins under our belts, long may it continue."
