Spurs winger glad to be playing with French striker at last

Gareth Bale is delighted to have new signing Louis Saha in the Spurs ranks as they chase the two Manchester clubs in the Premier League title race. Saha, brought in from Everton on deadline day on a deal until the end of the current campaign, scored twice on his home debut as Tottenham beat Newcastle 5-0 last Saturday. And Bale, already well aware of the Frenchman's abilities in front of goal, has also been impressed with Saha in training. "He played fantastic. We all know what he's capable of, we've played against him year after year," Bale told Spurs TV Online. "He's always been a threat against us and to have him on our team now is a real boost. He's a quality player, scored two goals and thoroughly deserved them. "He's shown in training already that he's a world class player, he's played at the highest level and we're delighted to have him."
