Striker Mike Grella has left Brentford after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract with the club.

The 25-year-old, a summer signing from Leeds, saw his playing time limited, with the majority of his appearances coming as a substitute. Striker Grella did, however, score four goals in a 6-0 win over Bournemouth in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Manager Uwe Rosler told the club's official website: "This was in the interest of both parties. "Mike has been extremely professional throughout his time at Brentford but he wanted the chance to explore other opportunities both domestically and abroad. "For that reason, we all decided to terminate his contract."
