Fiorentina midfielder Valon Behrami claims he rejected the chance to join Serie A leaders Juventus last month.
The Old Lady were linked with a move for the ex-West Ham man, although head coach Delio Rossi was keen to keep his services.
Behrami insists he had the opportunity to move to Juve, but he turned down the chance in order to be successful with Viola.
"In January there was a chance to go to Juventus, I talked with the leaders because the offer was tempting," Behrami told Radio Blue.
"The club made me understand they count a lot on me and it was immediately resolved. I stayed because I want to achieve important results with Fiorentina."
